Architecture is about living in a space that shapes our experience with the five senses. When the space amalgamates with nature, it creates environments that provide an invigorating experience. This is strongly reflected at Manasaram Architects, which has a nature-responsive design as well as culture. It has deepened my understanding of how architecture can nurture both people and place and enrich the soul and the senses at a deeper level.

Architecture is both a way of living and a social responsibility that shapes and develops society. These guiding principles of the Manasaram strongly align with architects and researchers like myself. I believe in a nature-friendly, homely practice environment where the culture of living is deeply learned, where architects are not just developed professionally, but nurtured as sensitive, humanistic and environmentally conscious designers as well as humans.

Good architecture is always rooted in context and anchored in on-ground research. To me, Manasaram reflects a responsive approach to the current needs of the environment that we design for, where real change is applied through research and thoughtful design.

Architecture, for me, is about connecting people, nature, and materials in a meaningful way.  At Manasaram, working on site execution and learning bamboo construction gave me hands-on experience. It helped me understand how sustainable materials and thoughtful design can create spaces that are simple, responsible, and deeply rooted in context.

Architecture, to me, is about reviving heritage with sensitivity - honouring its stories, materials, and context. My experience at Manasaram Architects has exposed me to learn through the buildings that speak for themselves in terms of functionality & environmental consciousness through a balanced design approach, combining traditional knowledge & sustainable practices.

Architecture is about responding honestly to climate, context, and materials. Working at Manasaram feels grounded and thoughtful, and it has helped me see how closely architecture can stay connected to place in a real way.

Architecture is simple, just like life, and we humans often make it complicated. In its true sense, architecture should remain simple and meaningful. Manasaram Architects reflects this idea by designing in a simple, sustainable way, guided by a motto of creating a healthier and more sustainable world for us to live in.

To me, architecture is simply about how a space makes me feel as I go about my day. I would call it the art of turning walls and roofs into a comfortable place where I can live and make memories, and my time with Manasaram Architects will surely help me learn how to build those spaces naturally. It's a way to connect people with the world around them.
