  • For design and internship roles, yes — a portfolio (PDF under 10 MB or a stable link) is a must. For research, coordination, or non-design roles, a CV with relevant experience is usually sufficient. Choose what best shows your strengths.

  • PDFs under 10MB for CVs and portfolios. If larger, use a Google Drive, Dropbox, or portfolio site link. Stable, shareable links (not Instagram or expiring links) are perfect.

  • Yes, if you show curiosity about materials, climate-responsive design, or craft. Focus your portfolio on process sketches, models, research, or material experiments rather than only polished drawings.

  • Please don't. AI-generated answers are easy to spot (generic sustainability buzzwords, no specific project references) and rarely make the shortlist. We want your real voice, your specific reasons for being interested in Manasaram's work, and what draws you to our material choices, projects, or approach. A short, honest statement is much stronger than a long, polished one.

  • Be specific about our work, our material research, or climate-responsive detailing. Generic statements get lost; thoughtful ones stand out. 3-4 sentences are perfect.
